Prof. Benish-Weisman is a recipient of multiple research grants from competitive grant foundations including, the ERC consolidator grant, the U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF), the Israel Science Foundation (ISF), the National Institute for Psychobiology in Israel and the Jacobs Foundation.
She authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading journals and currently serves as a counseling editor of European Journal of Personality and Developmental Psychology.
Her research focuses on values and social behavior among adolescents, the relations between values trajectories and youth adjustment and the psychological effect of immigration especially on ethnic identity.
